Hi! My name is Valeria Gamez, I am a Computer Engineering and Computer Science student at the University of Southern California.

I am originally from Mexico but now I live in between Long Beach and LA. I am an ocean lifeguard for the Fire Dept in Long Beach, avid swimmer, runner, and writer. At times, I am also an engineer interested in the intersection of hardware and software, whether that is systems programming, building a dashboard, soldering, or designing a pcb.

At USC, I am involved in Scope where I have gotten experience in web development and I am currently taking a VLSI class, learning how to design logic gates with Cadence Virtuoso.
